Aman Poddar

Software Developer • Incoming MA/PhD Student, I/O Psychology

I build tools that connect workplace data, software systems, and human-centered decision-making. With a background in Computer Science and practical experience in software development, machine learning, and organizational analytics, I will be joining the MA/PhD program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Fall 2026.

Bridging research questions and real-world systems

Why I/O Psychology

I entered software engineering through data, automation, and machine learning projects. Over time, my work increasingly connected back to people: how teams make decisions, how organizations use technology, and how workplace systems affect well-being, leadership, and fairness. I now focus on the bridge between technical systems and evidence-based organizational practice.

Current focus

Preparing to begin MA/PhD in I-O Psychology in Fall 2026. My current focus is on human–AI interaction, creativity, innovation, and ethical AI use in workplace decision-making. I am documenting applied work on AI-supported assessment, organizational compliance, behavioral analytics, and employee well-being while continuing to support I/O Psychology Nepal through knowledge-sharing and applied discussions.
